It seems that Kevin Davies was the one behind the alias Dave Smith or Southampton Dave all along. He’s even active in the Littlemoor Residents Group, masquerading under at least 10 other creepy profiles making me think he’s on some kind of watch list. Last week, I spoke with the real Professor David Smith from Southampton University about the profile below, and he wasn’t too pleased about it.
Discovering this was rather straightforward, and I hadn’t given it much thought previously. I had already banned him from the original NTTB Facebook group due to his harassment and overall disturbing behaviour. He later protested when I removed him in his own supporters group, which you see by the Wayne Gilham asking for “Southampton Dave” to block me and Kevin replies, “I am not that petty.”
I haveve emphasised this before, and I’ll reiterate it now: block the trolls. Your life will improve immeasurably. And if you can’t do that, simply stay off social media.
Oh, and before I move on, Kevin is behind the fake “Dave ‘Southampton’ Smith” profile. It’s likely just one of many, perhaps even dozens… Who dedicates their time to all of this? Clearly, individuals like Kevin and the other trolls, who appear to have all the free time, perhaps due to being unemployed. Also, it’s as if they scavenge like vultures off that donation money… #bottomfeeders
