Accountability in Action: Addressing Defamatory Practices at Dorset Eye (21.02.24)

Jason Richard Cridland, while you position the Dorset Eye as a community-focused website with a supposedly welcoming image, the reality is that you’ve published articles failing to meet the journalistic standards set by your own regulator, Impress. Due to content that violates the code of conduct regarding defamatory practices, including harassment and intimidation, a second web host has terminated your service. With two hosts now having discontinued your website, I am initiating discussions with Impress, who have already been in contact. I would ask that you just be better.

On the note of being better, here is my backed-up version via the Internet Archive ‘Wayback Machine’ of your crude attempt at an article by libelling the people of Portland and Weymouth and our own far better journalist’s responses debunking your tripe, of which I am told there is more to come. I am also told you, Jason and Debbie, know him, which is even better for the salt in the digital wound, and it may disappoint the trolls that I am not ‘Investigative Journalist’ and I am not alone in unveiling the truth.
